If your twins were born in 2019, we celebrated you at our Annual New Parents Tea at the General Meeting on Thursday, January 16 at the Masonic Hall in Framingham. The event was organized by Social Chair Monicky Marcelino, who did a fantastic job with the set-up, and all the goodies that were offered, donated to us by Miranda Bread, with locations in Framingham and Marlborough.
In addition to the delicious offerings, Monicky also led everyone through some fun mom-related games. We were asked to complete a word search and a word scramble within 5-7 minutes.
The next game was a "what's in your handbag" game. She named off specific items, and if you had them in your bag, you would add up all the items, and the person with the most items won. The final game was "how fast can you change a baby's diaper while blindfolded?"
President Sarah Pellegrini and Vice President Meredith Fitzgerald led us through a very brief business meeting, announcing some of MWPoM upcoming events, as well as some information about National Convention in July, and the deadline for the Marge Ainsworth Scholarship (please see blog posting on this subject for more details).
